Waterproofness and breathability don't always go hand in hand, which is why condensation drops can form on the inside due to the material and what you choose to do while wearing rain gear.
The material has a water column pressure of 10,000 MVP / 8,000 MVP, which roughly translates to 100% protection when used for everyday activities in the city, cycling to and from work, or a light hike in Danish nature. They are NOT designed for strenuous physical work or hiking in physically demanding environments where the body works hard and you sweat a lot.
The thin inner lining increases air circulation and helps wick away moisture that the body releases even during light activity. The lining also ensures that your clothes don't stick to the outer material if some moisture forms inside.
