Ranger utility pants - Olive Green
RANGER UTILITY PANTS
The American "OG-107 Utility Uniform" system included a combat shirt and a pair of combat trousers, among other things. Inspired by these and details from the former Danish M-58 uniform system, we have developed a comfortable and stylish pair of utility pants for OFF-DUTY use.
- Cargo pocket on the left thigh with Velcro closure.
- Pocket with YKK zipper on the right thigh, where our unit patch is placed underneath.
- Front pocket at the hip with Velcro closure for e.g. mobile phone.
- 2 side pockets with zipper.
- Elastic at the ankles (cannot be adjusted).
- Elastic and drawstring at the waist.
- Cut above and below the knees that increases mobility.
- Strong buttons at pockets and front.
- The material weighs 240 grams per sqm and consists of 100% cotton.
- The fabric is washed before the jacket is sewn, so the fabric does not shrink in the wash.
- The pants weigh 450 grams in size L.
They are made from a heavy-duty cotton, the same weight as the original OG-107 utility pants, which can feel a bit stiff at first. However, they will soften with each wash.
The original uniform system, named OG-107, refers to the "Olive Green 107" color in which the uniforms were made and which was adapted for the tropical terrain of Vietnam.
Our interpretation is designed for OFF-DUTY wear, drawing inspiration from both the OG-107 and the Danish M-65 uniform system, in a version suitable for everyday use. They can, of course, be worn with the Ranger utility overshirt, which is made from the same material.
